Video design and production company specializing in TV and digital media. The 5,000 SF facility, located at a lower floor of the Empire State Building, was converted into a flexible studio with a multi-purpose central gallery at its center. The central spine accommodates the design, photo and video functions, in addition to conference and meeting facilities. Flanking the central spine, a linear storage facility conceals all equipment and a kitchenette behind a large, floating signed wall. The opposite side of the central spine is defined by a rear-illuminated textured glass wall defining private offices and post-production facilities. Movable partitions within these spaces allow for varied degrees of privacy, light and noise controls. (photos by Zona Design)
