Part of the multi-billion dollar monorail extension to JFK airport, the Jamaica Center is designed for Port Authority presentations to the public. Sloping floor and wall surfaces host changing displays of drawings, models, photographs and text information used to educate and inform the public on a daily basis. The center includes a public conference/meeting space separated from the exhibit space by a pivoting display wall and second floor offices for Port Authority personnel.
